A little head start.  A lot of hope.

ABOUT STRICK'S GIFT

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping newborns in need. In honor and in memory of our son, Strick, we’ve made it our mission to help families who are unable to afford items like clothing and blankets for their newborn children. We deliver new and gently-loved clothing and necessities to newborns in need at Nashville hospitals.  This gift provides a little head start—and a lot of hope—to take home with their own bundle of joy.

HOW IT WORKS

Gather

We divide clothing donations into individual bags that includes at least 30 pieces of clothing for each newborn.

Connect

Social workers at the hospitals we support connect us with families in need. They, along with the nurses, deliver our Strick's Gift bags to the newborns and their mothers.

Deliver

Each gift is brought directly to the baby in need hours after he or she is born. With each bag delivered, a card of well wishes from "one angel to another" is attached.

Impact

This is a unique opportunity to impact newborns almost immediately and address a significant need that most don’t realize is so great .

HOW TO HELP

Our biggest need is keeping a stockpile of the clothing and necessities we deliver. To help, gather great condition gently-loved (clean, no visible stains) or new:

  • Clothing  size 0-12 months

  • Baby Blankets

  • Socks and Hats

  • Bibs and Burp Cloths

FROM ONE ANGEL TO ANOTHER

Our son, Strick, has taught us and many others how precious life is and what a true miracle babies are. This effort is dedicated to him and with every child we serve, we honor his memory. With your help, we can continue evolving this unique opportunity to directly impact new lives—from one angel to another.

IMPACT

“Strick’s Gift is such a wonderful organization and we are grateful for the gifts that are contributed to help take care of our patient and family needs.  Through the donations, we are able to meet the needs of families who are experiencing hardship and just need a little extra help.  Our immigrant and refugee population are particularly in need as they move here with very little financial capability and minimal support to help meet the basic needs of their families.  The gift is a small contribution, but makes a big impact on the family that is struggling."
