In honor and in memory of our son, Strick, we’ve made it our mission to help families who are unable to afford items like clothing and blankets for their newborn children.  There are more than 6,000 babies born each year in Nashville considered in need.  These  are the children we humbly serve.

Since Strick’s Gift was founded in 2008, we’ve given away nearly 300,000 pieces of clothing to Nashville’s newborns in need.  We deliver to our local Nashville Hospitals and partner with Labor and Delivery social worker s and nurses.  Thanks to the many people who have donated clothes and continue to do so, we plan to grow that number and provide for as many newborns as possible.

To hear more about how Strick’s Gift came to be, watch Founder Lena Levendoski tell her story.

We currently serve serve four hospitals in Davidson County, where 6,000 babies are born into poverty each year. This includes:

- St. Thomas Midtown Hospital
- Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt’s newborn nursery
- The Children's Hospital at TriStar Centennial
